Coaching support: 360

At ARK, we are happy to work with any feedback data available. We are also very interested in a form of 360 Feedback based on the Johari Window. This differs from typical leadership programmes based on 360 degree feedback and coaching in one crucial way. In this scheme, colleagues and employees commit to helping the leader make the necessary changes.

Using this model, we collect feedback from the colleagues concerned; explore this with the coachee; and agree a plan of action. Colleagues are then briefed on the plan of action and are encouraged to point out occasions on which the coachee could have performed the action point better.

The high degree of both endorsement and awareness of behaviour will often cause changes to be implemented extremely quickly. Of course, this can be a very effective method of encouraging behavioural change.
